I dont ever want to see the word "fault" appear with reference to ANYONE who is struggling with BP on this site ever again.

Hate the word FAULT....thank you for pointing that out. I have a hard time getting the voices out of my head that everything is "MY FAULT" Arg -

Sadly I at times will feel down enough about myself that I'll think of something as my "fault" probably when I perhaps shouldn't be saying so--or that I feel like a "failure"--but I won't say that about others. The purpose of any support group is to support others, not put them down. -

I don't think that fault is a bad word.
My husband is bp & it's not his fault... on that same token there are people that know they need to take meds to be stable (for them selves & their loved ones.)
I do believe that if you know you need meds (and they stablize you) then you dicide you're ok with out them & stop taking them anything you do from that point on is your fault. You made that choice, & it could effect everyone you love....
Having bp isn't free pass to just do what ever you want with out reprocussions.
Really, you needs to take responability for you actions at some point.
(sorry for spelling mistakes.)

I need individuals with a positive outlook on bipolar, ones that are living with it and dealing with it just fine, taking their meds, not questioning every medication, or its side effects etc. This is a place to vent, a place for the mostly balanced bipolars...would appreciate all of your input, have a great weekend, let's try making a good go of this group...
