Check Out My Measurements!!!

So in the smoking community we Count Our Stats! How about putting down our measurements and watching the numbers go DOWN! I'm too shy to put my weight but I think maybe I'd put down the measurements, what do you think?

    I think that would be a good idea. We could also include BMI. It is easy to calculate and can be a good indicator of how we are doing.

    Not a stupid question. BMI is body mass index. It's a calculation that people use to figure out if they are underweight, normal weight, overweight, or obese. There are lots of bmi calculators on the internet - there's one at nhlbisupport.com, which runs through the National Institute of Health. If you lose weight, your bmi number changes.

    Well Ladies and Gent I did it, I joined CURVES this morning and was measured and weighed and such and have an apt with a trainer on Wednesday, (too busy tomorrow) and I am feeling really motivated and good about this decision! My goal is very attainable and the woman said with my body fat ect I should have no problem meeting that goal within 3 to 7 months! The goal included the 10 pounds I wanted to loose prior to the 20 I gained with my quit....I AM GOING TO LOOSE THIRTY POUNDS!!!! How's that for positive a affirmation!

    Hey Shell, that is great news!! I joined Curves about two weeks ago and I love it. It has really helps me keep focus and I love the way I feel after my workout. Good Luck and Way to go with your Positive Thinking :)

    Right on kip, I'm feeling it's going to be a really good thing for me! Yesterday there was a woman there that lost 8" in one month!

    Awesome decision to joining the gym ladies!!! :-) I belong to a 24 hour fitness. I like it because I can go anytime I want. I was trying to go first thing in the morning (around 3:30-4am) but it was killing me. Lately I've been going at night and it's been helping me okay. We'll see how it goes though.

    3:30 or 4:00 in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow that's still nighty night time to me. Went today to Curves and loved it, wrote more in detail on my journal and left it open....so cool.

    Okay I got measured and weighed at Curves today and I lost 1 1/2 pounds and 1 1/2 inches and 1.21 body fat! I'm pleased as punch!!!
