another new single mom....

I'm new here also, I think I'm feeling overwhelmed by my children tonight. I'm hoping that joining this group there will be some other mothers going through some of the same experiences. OF COURSE WE ARE ALL OVERWHELMED!!! I have a 7 year old boy and 10 year old daughter, I've been single since both have been born, their father has no contact with them. I love my children, I just need more time to myself!!!

  I only have one, but I do know what you mean about being overwhelmed! do you have any relatives closed by?
  When I feel like you, I called my sister up and see if she has plans to go out if she does not I ask her if she can take care of my daughter for two hours. I either go, to see a movie or to the mall by myself, that's my therapy lol., or just go for a long walk.
  In the case that my sister made plans, I ask her if I can go with her, and then it works out because then she spends time with her niece and I get a little of a break even though we are all together :).
