Ice Blocking

Does anybody here remember Ice Blocking? Maybe it was just a California thing, but we used to go buy a 10 lb. block of ice from one of those ice vendors that stood in the middle of an Alpha Beta parking lot. We would then caravan up to the local golf course at night time, and slide down the the rolling hills on the blocks of ice. Ever do this?
