We love all our children, we care oh so much
on DS we talk,laugh, supoport,stay in touch.
But if we had chance and in dreaming, we do...
we'd hop off to and island, where dreaming comes true.

Autism island.... a beautiful place
filled with contentment,with love and with grace,
with hours of sunshine and nights filled with joy
where no-one will badger us, or try to annoy

with Palm trees on white sand and tropical sounds
knowing it is only pure love that surrounds
for in dreaming we know we can do as we please
we can lay on white sands and get high on sea breeze

we can drift from reality, finding a place
to heal all that's broken, and at our own pace
we can truly be 'us', oh it sounds so divine
when will autims island........be mine?!

we often say in hard times 'we will get our reward'
one day...we'll be floating on the islands surf board
for as true as i write this, one day we will feel
the great autism island, in our life, for real!

so never stop dreaming......keep hold of your thoughts
so when things get so tough and you feel really fraught
just stop for a moment and imagine the best..........
Autism island...let your dreams do the rest!
