whats behind your screen name?

Posted on 09/22/08, 11:06 pm
i borrowed this topic from the need a friend group

is a funny story behind my screen name. i moved to kentucky from michigan when i was 19, yes, i did suffer from culture shock! but anyways, my cousin, one of about 50 that i never knew i had until i moved south, everyone is related to everyone! anyways, my cousins husband could never remember my name, so he started calling me Priscila, and that has been about 25 yrs ago and everyone calls me Priscila even in real life.

I called myself challenger, because I "challenge" that my son will never be independent, I "challenge" he'll never speak, I "challenge" that I should lower my expectations for him. I "challenge" that he was "just born this way".

Ok, this is funny.... I have gotten so many people asking me if I am depressed. My screen name is my name Denise Dies. Only thing is that I couldn't fit the last e. So it really is Denise Diese. People always ask me if I feel like I am dying. Funny. Not most of the time. LOL. So the screen name would have been Denise Diese if I could have fit the last e. Hugs Denise

LOL! Denise, that is cute. I know I always thought you were working through a depression. i'm glad to know you are not.

My cat's name is Sophie and the first word that Kalista could say out loud was Zophie.

I will always think it is the most beautiful word ever.
