Attack w/o usualy low peak flows

Posted on 06/17/09, 03:43 pm
This past weekend I had and attack, I think. My pipes felt swollen and the familiar pain was back, in the center of my back and center of my chest.

However, my Peak Flow was in what used to be my high number. In the last few months I've been blowing 650/600. My not too distant past's best was 450/500.

I did not feel severely out of breath, like most attacks I've had but had everything else. Anyone ever experience this?

i have had attacks when my pf's are very near my green zone. usually starts with a cough a some tight feeling in my chest , my solution, hit the inhaler- that does the trick for me. i've found that if i let it progress the attack is worse and i'm either at the docs office or in the ER. i think it's more about the symptoms than the pf's. i have had yellow zone symptoms in my green and red zone in my yellow.
