Crazy pg dream...

Mrs. BeyBey

I am currently 10wks pg with twins after four years of IF and one m/c four months ago. I still have a lot of fears with this pregnancy and am trying to take it one day at a time. Well I really haven't been dreaming a lot but last night I had a dream that has really stuck with me. I was having the twins early and they couldn't stop them coming. It was too early. They both popped out still in their sacs and I was crying and asking for help. The nurses popped the sacs and handed me the babies but they were cats. It was really weird. They were black cats with white paws. I was just holding them and crying. I woke up very upset. What do you think this means? Is it just my crazy worries and imagination?

Hi, Amber, Welcome! When you are pregnant all the hormones can cause you to have crazy dreams. To dream that you are giving birth to a non-human creature, signifies you overwhelming (an unfounded) fear in the health of your baby. You are overly concerned that your baby may have birth defects. This type of dream is common in expectant mothers in their second trimester. Women in the first trimester of their pregnancy tend to dream of tiny creatures, fuzzy animals, flowers, fruit and water. In the second trimester, dreams will reflect your anxieties about being a good mother and concerns about possible complications with the birth. Dreams of giving birth to a non-human baby are also common during this period of the pregnancy. Finally, in the third trimester, dreams consists of your own mother. As your body changes and grows, dreams of whales, elephants and dinosaurs and other larger animals may also start appearing at this stage. It's just a dream and your fears are causing you to have these dreams. Relax and enjoy your pregnancy. Congrats also. :)

Welcome
