Strange Situation

I have written her before about taking a job working with my H. Well guess what? I started working with him back in Aug now he has gotten a new job with a new company, which will leave me at this company by myself. Theres nothing but men at this company no women. I don't exactly have a friend at the company. If I don't talk with my H I don't talk to anyone at all. Its the worst working environment I have ever worked in.
The really bad part, the big wigs decided that I should do my H job when he leaves. Now I am being trained to do another job. Hooray :( I have one week to learn a totally new job. I hate this. I just want to get my nursing license and move on to what I know. That wont happen until Feb. The company is afraid that I will leave soon after my H so they have been asking both of us will I be staying. We have told them yes, mostly because I don't have my license yet. I just don't know what to do about this new job and working environment. I just hate the idea of working there without my H. My H says if I am going to be uncomfortable he will tell the new job that he cant take it and stay with me at the old company. Thats sweet of him but I cant let him do that. Its a great job for him and a great opportunity.
I just don't know how to make it through every day with out him?

  Hi...this is just a suggestion, put as much focus as you need to into doing your current job, but when you are safely able to(not knowing the enviroment of your current job situation) focus on the future licensing or the new job. Visualize the new situation and how it will make you much happier, then try to do present work as long as you can. Hopefully the two situations meet up in good time...

  Yes just hang in there and show your husband you can do this. After all you can. You will. If everyone is being nice to you then take that as a blessing in itself. If I were you I would tell them the truth that you may not indefinitely stay. That way when you are on your way out they can have someone on thier way in. Then you won't feel bad for leaving anyone hanging. Good luck.

  I am trying to hand in there. My H is now training me for his position but it just seems like so much to remember. He says that it took him a while to get it all and he still has to ask questions and he has been with this company for over a year. I helps.
  I am trying to look at this as a positive but it is hard when I don't have a foundation to fall back on. I guess time will tell. I told my H that if they don't like my work they can firer me. He says it will all work out. I sure hope he is right. I will keep you all informed on whats happening.

  Hello all, Things have change again at the old work place. The powers that be has decided that they want to bring someone in to do the job my H left. HOORAY!!! The new guy started today. He has been doing the job already in another area so there's not training that has to be done. I will go back to what I was doing. I am so happy. God works his magic all the time.
  The next step is to get my Nursing license. I have given my self a dead line of March 7. I have to take a class on March 7ths, when the class is done I will send off all my paper work and then all I have to do is wait. Once the license come in the mail I am out of here. I cant wait. It could take up to six weeks but I think I can hold out that long. I will keep you all posted.
