cookies. My wife bakes over 35 kinds for Christmas (about 175 dozen) but she gives cookie trays to our neighbors and relatives. My favorite cookie is snickerdoodles which are sugar cookies with cinnamon or raison filled cookies. -

cookies and cookie bars. It's hard to beat good old fashioned Oatmeal Raisin or Chocolate Chip. I'm not quite as prolific as Mrs. Elk, but there are 8-9 different kinds that get made for Christmas only, and they are given away. I posted a bunch of recipes on December 18 & 19 in my journals if you want them, or I will copy & paste them to anyone who wants them. Caramel Peanut Butter Bars, Caramel Pecan Pie, Raspberry Filled Squares, Rocky Road, Frosted Ginger Cookies, Pecan Meltaways and Toffee Squares. -

I used to go for breakfaast every morning in DC and get a corn muffin--I was addicted to the things. Can't find one good corn muffin for purchase anywhere in St. Louis, but there are a lot of good cookies. -
