Electronic drums

I am a guitarist/singer but I want to do some of my own drums in my recordings. Has anyone tried the ion ideo1 drum set out for recording? I don't want to drop a lot of cash since I'm not a real drummer. It would be nice also to have something at the house.

    Hey Chris

I havent personally tried them but I have heard a little about them and I have been in guitar center and heard people playing them. From what I heard there good sounding. Not sure about the price maybe try searching around online at like guitar centers website or musicians friend just to see what the going rate is and go from there

Meh...it's DRUMS, dude. If an old Dr. Rhythm unit doesn't do it for you, then just sample the drums off an AC/DC record and speed them up to the right tempo. Really, these days, there's no reason for ANYONE to invest a great deal of money or effort in finding a fucking drummer for recording.
