I am the care giver for my 91 year old father who is a t2 diabetic. His blood sugar was reduced to 95-100 for the entire month he used a specific soulble fiber supplement powder. He went off that supplement and it went back to 150+ even while under medication. He is now taking several supplements that really help but the name is not allowed on this site as I am a distributor of that product line. His MD is totally in agreement with the products as they are clinically proven to really make a difference.

I'm brand new to this group. Does anyone have any input about diabetes being "treated" with supplements? I have been diagnosed for approx. 12 years and am beginning to find that the medication that I take glimepride (generic for Amaryl)is becoming less effective. My blood glucose numbers are much higher than what they normally were. My 3 month blood work is still ok but I think when I go again it will have risen considerably, based on my daily numbers. I am always interested in exploring other alternative methods. Especially if it works!
Thanks for any feedback.
