A Spiritual Entity

Posted on 11/02/09, 09:04 am
Tradition Five, "Each Alcoholics Anonymous group ought to be a spiritual entity having but one primary purpose--that of carrying its message to the alcoholic who still suffers."

I like being a part of an organization that considers itself a spiritual entity where I can practice spiritual principles and know that the whole organization is focused on doing the same.

If you read the Big Book and the Bible side by side, I think you will be amazed. Bill, Dr, Bob and the hundred drunks who helped write the Book took a lot of its principles right from the Bible. There is no spiritual part to the program, no spiritual step one must take. The whole program is spiritual. Which makes AA a spiritual entity.

Is that like a corporate entity, will it help on my taxes?? LOL
No excellent post. Spirituality can be found in so many places, vs. religion which is only in church.
