This may sound nit-pickey (which it most certainly is) but the real answer to #8 is Delusional Thinking.
Bill Wilson almost got it wrong himself but his pen saved him from making a mistake. If you examine the statement carefully:
"Selfishness - self-centeredness! That, we think, is the root of our troubles"
You will see that "we think" is the predicate in this sentence. If you don't believe my theory, all you have to do is read everything that Siddhattha Gotama, Lao-Tsu, Søren Aabye Kierkegaard and Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj had to say about Delusional Thinking:
