Living Arrangements

A relatively recent development throughout much of the developed world is people living alone. A single person pays the rent on an apartment or the mortgage on a house, and is the sole occupant of that space. He or she may be responsible for all of the expenses and labor of furnishing, cleaning, and maintenance, as well as paying for utilities and other services. In times past, such people would have been called hermits or recluses, and would have been considered unusual. We think of this lifestyle as mostly normal today.
People live in a variety of housing types and situations with other people. Some of the many choices in living arrangements are listed here.
-roommates
-couples
-houseboats
-condominums
-shipboard
-dormitories
-homeless by choice
-townhouses
-manufactured or prefabricated housing
-retirement homes
-family
-flats
-mobile homes or trailers
-recreational vehicles (RV's)
-nursing homes
-employer-provided housing
-single-room occupancy (SRO's)
-caves (common in China and some other regions of the world)
-barracks
Can you think of other types of living arrangements? What are your thoughts on how people live? What is your opinion of the perfect living arrangements for yourself?

Well all people were not created equal. I only mean this by... some are poor, rich, famous and all in-between. Most were raised this way and some were not they chose to be. In my perfect world it wouldn't matter where I lived or where but love is the most important thing to me. Someone to love me for who I am and not for who I am not. This is also what I would provide the mate of my choice.I live in a doublewide trailor on over 2 acres of land and would give it up for true love... -

Many people in San Diego live in RVs, or recreational vehicles, that they park on the street. They pay no rent or property tax, and they can choose what neighborhood they live in. I don't know if this is legal or not, but the police leave them alone for the most apart, even though it is technically 'squatting'. Except for the cost of the vehicle, insurance of the vehicle, and annual registration, they leave on the cheap. Most are self-contained vehicles, having electric power generation and batteries for operating things like televisions, refrigerators, and computers, and water storage tanks for running water in the shower and sink. The one disadvantage of this type of mobile address is the lack of a fixed address, which means people living this way may not be able to register to vote in most areas - a small price to pay? -

They can use P.O. Boxes for their addresses.
