What do you have in your living space that you feel you must have in order to be able to call it your home?

"a house is not a home without a cat of your own"....Something to love weather its persons, fur babies or things makes a house a home. IMO -

I require a vacuum cleaner and a really good broom to keep the floor clean, dustpan optional as I've learned that a piece of cardboard or heavy paper will serve the purpose equally well. -

A home is your place of peace and love, laughter, you make your own cosy little nese of some,it could be a soft cuddle blankets, some soft ,candles, the fresh smell of homemade bread, apple pie, just put all the love in that you can muster up,it should be your nest away from the madding world, and all the love that makes a house a home, and open your hearts to God,God Bless your Home with his love in your hearts...carla7777...xxxooo.. -

A house is not a home until you have a person that you love very much living with you -

A home takes on a special meaning & significance when you're disabled.
Its a place that transends time & place, a living area that allows you to be at your best, your securest, without interference from the outside world. A domicile where you are able to surround yourself with the people you love most & the objects that make you feel & remember. A temple where we can pray solemnly & individually to a loving God who loves us more than we know. -

What makes a place a home?
For me it's a safe place, a place that is filled with happiness, love and laughter, a place to cry in the comforts of your own personal surroundings, a place where you are not judged by others, a place to relax.
Being a sentimental person, I have many old photos with happy memories attached to them, as well as other sentimental meaningful things.
Welcome
