These are my favorite jeans ... they have been in my closet for 15 years .. through 2 cancer diagnosis and 4 rounds of chemo and 2 rounds of radiation ... they are a constant in my life.

When my phone rang this morning … up to my eyeballs in boxes and paper and other moving items... I thought, “Ugh Now What!” It was Jessica telling me I had won the "Show Us Your Jeans" photo contest! What an incredible honor; like those jeans, DailyStrength has been with me through the good times and the bad.
I found DailyStrength while doing Internet searches when I was first diagnosed with cancer. Four years ago, my life felt hopeless. I felt that nobody understood what I was going through. Today, four years later, I have met several of my DailyStrength friends. We have shared cyber hugs, care packages, tears and laughter. Through all of my struggles, big and small, I know I can find someone here on DailyStrength who will understand and lift me up when I can’t find ground to stand on.
For all of you who submitted photos, as a cancer survivor, I want to say thank you. Thank you for walking, raising money and for sharing your amazing stories and support. I am definitely a life that is changed.
Today, I find myself grateful, for DailyStrength and for cancer research.
