			<description><![CDATA[How much phone contact does she have with your ex during her time with you?  If he's pulling this on you, then maybe you need to ask him if he wants the same treatment during your visitation time.  Hopefully someone with a shorter fuse than me will give you some advice.]]></description>

Meaning that he has to give her reasonable contact with you when she is with him and vice versa. 			<description><![CDATA[I have primary residential custody and in all honesty they don't talk that much and he will often go months without even seeing her. I do have her call him back when he call her though, as well as on holidays and whenever she has the urge.

Announce a truce? Maybe this will help him understand that your daughter is more important than either of you being "right " or whatever.  
 Also, talk with your daughter and consider therapy for her and you to process this
