How old is your Dad ?
I've been taking care of my mom for 5 1/2 years . Anti-depressants should not be taken forever and they cause no appetite so read side affects to all the medication this may be why Dad won't eat. Parkinsons turns into alzheimer's. So be prepared .. I call this process of taking care of Mom adjust and adapt. I don't know what I'm going to wake to so I adjust and adapt. Myself talk is I am strong and can handle anything. You may want to watch your Dad when their home they can fake signs of alzheimer's. First signs is he may not remember how to use things can opener , microwave , this could be another reason he not eating right.
Hope this helps cilla253
