Eating concerns

Allyson is 7 and undergoing chemo and radiation. She is always crying and complaining about her stomach. She is not eating and we have to force her to drink and now she is vomiting. I would like to know if it is necessary to seek other ways of getting nutrition in her such as a Gtube? I watched my son drop 30 lbs right after having major surgery from not eating and he now has a permanent feeding tube. I am worried now about Allyson as she too is doing the same thing. Does anyone have any advice? In desperate need....
