A little info on grief

Hi! I found this article on grief healing. I'm not close by no means, but its a way to measure our progress through our grief.. Its says that change isn't always obvious. Looking at the list, I have a few things highlighted that I think I've accomplished already. I keep it near and every once in awhile I glance at it and see if I've progressed anywhere.

I lost George 4 months ago and I'm having a really hard time, so all the inforamtion I get on this "new" life of mine helps and I hope it'll help all of you as well.

All my best and thanks for being there!

Kim

" Kim:

This is great. I love lists. Some of these are thought provoking. I used to love to read, but recently haven't been able to concentrate. Now I see why. Thank you for sharing this.

" Hi Christine. . .thank you for sharing that with us. I didn't realize that I had come so far and have accomplished so much on this long road of grieving. Wish you well as you achieve more on the list. Shirley "

" Hi Kim
I found the article quite helpful in seeing what stage of grief i am in.
Some of the info I couldn't relate to because my situation. For example I don't drive. The part about realizing others are with major issues, problems. Well this is how I see it. I'm far from the only one going through major issues. I define major issues as what ever the person feels is a major issue. For example if someone's terribly upset discovering their fave actor is bald than that's a major issue to them. I'm not going to judge them. I think it s up to the individual to decide what's major to them.
Bottom line. Everybody's human. Everyone at least on some level is touched by stressful situations. I realize losing a job, major accident is a lot less than losing a loved one.
However they are still cause a lot of stress for the person involved.
