The last 2 days weather has been nice, I felt a little better. Actually got things done. Today, cold, windy, raining, supposed to snow tonight. Today I have been crying all day. Paid my utilities, and just kept crying. So I am holed up in my house, am afraid that if I don't get out, will become a recluse.. In my "safe" place. If I can hang on until spring, I think I will make it....Spring, hurry!!!!

" Sandee, I am with you on that one! I saw the first butterfly of the year here today, and yet we're still getting frost in the mornings. But oh how glad I was to see a sign of spring today! Hang in there, sweetie, spring will come!

Love and Hugs,
Martha "

" Hi Sandee,
I understand how you feel. Even though it's been two years for me, I'm down today. It's rainy and cold with snow coming tonight and tomorrow. I just can't get motivated to do anything today. I used to love the thought of snow coming and maybe I could stay home and not have to get out in it. Now I worry about the weather instead of enjoying it like I used to. I hope that will someday change for me.

I don't know how far along you are, but it's okay to stay in your "safe place" sometimes. Let's hope spring comes very soon. It's supposed to be in the 60s here by the weekend.

" in the past two weeks work has closed twice because of snow and two other days i did not go due to the 20 inches we got in the two weeks, but as long as i had cable, daughter, food, dog...it was not too bad, it was the first time i have ever had to shovel?? the garage stuck but i felt ok with it. I wished for my husband and was sad when my daughter was stuck driving in it but once she was safe, relief set in....life is so different now. I always say i am bordering on reclusive....16 months i am learning now to get out slowly and still its in spurts......time, time time .......this journey is up and down, snow and rain........hang in there Sandee, you have a safe place at home and here "

" My daughter and I stopped by the grocery tonight, we were home one hour, we looked outside, where there had been grass, there was over one inch of snow, I am so tired of winter, I really do feel that if I could get out and start walking in the local park my mood would lighten, not to mention my waistline.

That said, my spring bulbs, tulips and such have been peeking out for a few weeks now, so spring must be around the corner. "
