where to keep ashes

I have Wayne's ashes on my dining room table, with candles and fresh flowers. He has been in Heaven for 57 days. I am thinking of bringing him in the bedroom on his nightstand.

i am having a hard time looking at the urn right now, I give him kisses all the time. Where do you keep your dear heart?

Also, I got his Military headstone the other day and his rank is wrong. Do I request the right one? He wa a Sargeant in the Marines and they put Corparal. I feel I need that corrected.

I have not been around for a while, just too sad, hope you all are ok.

Peace to you
Dually

" I thought I was the only one thinking about this. Never in a million years would I have thought I would have someone ashes in my home. Right now I am not sure what to do. Everyone tells me to wait a bit and decide. Everything is too raw. "

" I keep my dear Bud's ashes/urn on the night stand in my bedroom next to what was his side of the bed. I have a picture of him by it and am not sure if I will ever bury his ashes. I may leave that up to family to bury our ashes together when my time on this earth is over. His wishes were to be buried wherever I was going to be buried with a headstone for us so for now I am doing the headstone. I agree with Chris, ask them to correct the stone, your Wayne deserves it (you too). Hugs, Gem "
