When things go wrong as they often do,
(Over & over again, it's true.)
It's hard to keep your chin up high;
Much easier to lay down and die.

But giving up s'not the thing to do
For it helps no one, not even you.
Retreat if you must to lick your wounds,
Take the time you need to find your tune.

On an ordinary Monday morning?

I Sit here alone
I sit here and think of you remembering our special moments
A smile escapes upon my lips as you lean in for that sweet kiss that leaves me breathless as it always did.
