Well It been a while since I wrote and it's about time I shared how special my wife was. She touch so many lives by her unselfish devotion to life. She help others for as long as she could before being totally house bound. She was teaching religious Education until she became house bound. She would get frusterated with her inability to continue to help others, not because of self pitty.

Having had my share of feeling so low a worm could crawl over me without going uphill or down, I know how hard it is to get back up and face the world - esp. knowing that the world is just waiting to knock ya back down again. (sigh - It's the nature of the "beast").

Happiness is not a destination;
It is a method of living.
its always the journey that counts the most, once you get there, once you get the medal or trophy, the whole thing/the adventure, the challenge, the learning experience, the good times, and laughter is over, and onto the next journey.

Just an update.....Although the dreaded anniversary is still approaching I think I'm handling my emotions better. It's amazing how the more intune I become with my emotions the better able to handle lifes little hills and valleys I'm able to manage.

I was having a terrible day today, lonely and feeling sorry for myself, then I met a beautiful woman. Her name is June and she lost her husband 15 years ago.
