Ok, so Aidan Andrew had his artificial heart valve for two days nows and is doing good. He is awake and kicking around just like a 6 month old should be doing. He still have the breathing tube and others, but hopefully by tomorrow they will start to unplug him from all these machines. The doctors nevre thought he would make it though the surgery, so he is a little fighter!!!2 Recommendations7 Comments

Exhausted!!! Finished the SANE class and passed the test. It was intensive. Now I have to do a 60 hour clinical before I can work as a SANE nurse. All durning the week I would think how Larry would be proud of me. I also thought about how alone I am. It's just really sinking in I am a widow. All the bills and all the responsiblity is mine. Bess has had a hard time of it last night and today *sigh*...........she had a bad night with more bleeding and I got calls from three different people talking over her situation this morning. Well, here it is. Just when you think everything that could go haywier has something else happens. It got trapped in the shower. Somehow the shower doors got stuck together. I think one went off the track. While all kinds of thoughts were running though my head I pushed, pulled and jiggled the doors but, nothing happened. My cardiologist said he wants to see me in a year! Yeah!!! He's happy with my progress so far but said I did need to lose a few of those extra lbs floating around my mid-section!
