I've been on this diet for about a month now. My mother was on it and she lost 40 pounds. I've lost 15 pounds, which would be great. If i didn't gain 30 pounds two months prier. So i'm not just trying to get back to my normal weight but i want to lose even more. I can't even remember the last time i was a decent size. Probably in 3rd grade. But it's just not working anymore. The first three weeks is when the weight just dissapeared but now i'm just mantaining my weight of 215 pounds. I'm back in school and i have gym first period so i get a good workout every morning. I think the diet is called the low glisemic diet. I'm pretty positive i spelled that wrong, but its the diet where you take suger out of your diet completely. I just need some advice or support. something.

" Truth is, taking sugar out completely will probably make you more apt to binging. so allow yourself one Little desert a day, Portion control though! "

" I agree with Avandervate - allow yourself something small every day or week! It will be like a "reward" for eating well the rest of the day and exercising.

Remember though, to maintain your weight loss once you get there (and you WILL get there!), you will need to make some LIFEstyle changes. Diets work for the short run, but if you want to always be healthy and happy, you must change your way of living.

Let me know if you'd like any more advice or if I can do something to help.

Take care,
Harley. "
