What are some "tricks", saying, etc. that keep you motivated to exercise regularly, eat healthy, and not fall off the wagon?!!? I can never "be good" for more than a couple days in a row...although my record is 6 days I think. But that was only because I was too sick to eat bahahaha...anyways...my fam always has lotsa junk food in the house & when it's JUST SITTING THERE it's hard for me to walk away!!! Especially when I see them eating it! Any tips?!?! I have very sucky will power haha!
And if this helps (idk why it could but just in case) I'm 16, 5'6'', weigh around 143 pounds, and want to weigh about 120...but really, all I care about is to be TONED & thin & be able to play sports/be athletic! I do like sports but I get tired too quickly because of the poor shape I'm in...also I have asthma. THANKS so much!! Posted on 12/10/08, 03:12 pm |

if your trying to lose some weight, it doesnt help when your family has so much junk foods around you. Yeah its really tempting obv, but if you really wanna lsoe some then you have to speek to someone in your family ask them not to buy so much junk food get more healthy foods for you. maby get someone else in your family to join in help out it would be easyer with someone helping you. I also have asthma and see where your coming from, you do need to be fit too last a while with it. if you wanna stay focused for excercising ,then you could get your self more to the excitment and fun ways to exsercise and the boring types. maby a fun dance dvd or somthing like that somtimes that will make you smile or look forward to it.

I agree with Emma,
my family used to have tons of junk food, but now what my mom does is at the beginning of each month, she goes to the commissary and buys us 2 boxes of snacks, (pop tarts, or crackers, etc.) and we write our name on them, and we can only have one or two a day depending n what kind of snack it is, and one that's gone, it's gone, and if you want more snacks, you have to buy them yourself, we also buy way more fruit, and vegetables. my big brother HATES this, he is almost 300 lbs, and since he has some behavioral disorders that are really bad, he can't go to school so all he really does is sit around and snack all day, but it's really helped me, since I've been exercising and not snacking, I've lost 15 lbs in a month, and i feel WAY better, (: and plus it saves money for the family to not buy so much junk food all the time ,so it's a "win, win" kind of thing, Hope this helps you, and If you have any questions, please ask, (:
