i really want to lose my thighs. i have tried to go on diets so MANY times, but never last. i always end up gaining the weight in like a day. i have wanted to try to go on the lemonade diet, but it is for 10 days, and im scared that on the 3 day i will just quit and binge eat.......i dont know what to do, i really really want to lose weight but feel like im trapped, and it will never be possible to get the body i want. i hate it so much.....i wish i can wear jeans or something without feeling like my thighs rub together or just looking in the mirror and seeing i have big hips. pleasseee help you guys!! i joined this daily strength thing today hoping i would finally get the help i need

Hey! This is hard to hear, I know, but any crash diets like that "lemonade diet" won't work. I mean, obviously, if you starve youself long enough, you will get skinnier. But like you said, you will binge eat and gain every single pound back. The only healthy and permanent way to lose weight is through a nutritious diet and exericse. You might not get results as fast as starving youself, but part of being healthy is taking care of youself on a LONG-TERM basis. Hope that helps!

yeah, i know exactley how you feel! we all wish there was a magical, quick fix to weight loss, but we aren't living in wonderland, we are in reality.
a diet of just lemonade is a dangerous thing to do to your body. you would get mad diareah (sorry) but i'm being honest, your stomache would ache from the acid, and you would be dizzy and moody as hell. and just as you said, you would probably end up bingeing on the third day (because your body is screaming for nutrients like protein and calcium) and even if you made it the entire ten days, on the eleventh you would be so hungry you would probably eat your entire fridge, door and everything! and the weight loss would be just a temporary thing. when you go on nutrient defficient diets such as this, your body starts eating itself to get crucial nutrition, and even though we would like it to go to the fat stores first, it doesn't, our bodies eat our own muscles to thrive because they are the easiest to break down. so, by the end of the diet, you would have lost muscle mass, lowered your metabolism, be week, and then gain all of the weight you lost back in pure fat. the only solution is a life style change, a good amount of exercise daily, lots of water, and a good, well rounded, low fat, protein-rich diet. try eating fruits and veggies in the place of snacks. and always include a good protein source with each meal to curb hunger. i wish you the best of luck on this journey, just remember to be smart and patient. & the most important thing to remember is that you are beautiful just the way that you are! 'big' thighs or not. having smaller thighs wont make you any prettier or any more popular, it's all in our heads! *hugz*

ok well i just wanted to say that starving your self wont work to lose any weight because when you starve your self your body starts colecting all the fat and will ad more and then youl look saggy with no mucles
