Well, cat ain't got my tongue and I would think if you want to post a video of one person's statement in Congress and not all statements on this debate, then you are only seeing this and want to promote just one view, JMO.

TheAmerican - that video may be "nuff" for you but I find it very much lacking.

How can one man's opinion be enough on any subject? I don't know where this guy got his "facts" but what he is saying is nothing more than the same rhetoric we've been hearing from the right for months now.

WHERE IS the health care reform from the right? They came up with a 4 page plan several months ago without any numbers in it. Absolutely nothing about an issue that is breaking this country - the cost of medical care.


Tell me TheAmerican - aside from the words that this man said - do you know what the plan is that the right has for health care reform? Or better yet - what is your plan for health care reform.

Why not torte reform?
Why not repeal:McCarran-Ferguson Act

Regardless of who we think is justified in thier beliefs...we have to ask the common sense question: why not repeal McCarran Ferguson?

If Obama's health care is passed it will break this country. I know what he said about it lowering the cost of medical care but he has said a lot of things that didn't happen to. Everything the government runs is going broke or is already broke. I don't want government to have their nose in my business and that is what is going to happen. The right has tried to be a part of health care reform but can't get through Nancy and Reids locked doors.

Well bite - maybe that will be addressed in the Senate's proposal.

I agree that the McCarran-Ferguson Act should be repealed and maybe that will happen when the two proposals are combined.

Wilson - what are you basing your statement that if Obama's health care is passed it will break this country? Why do you feel that way?

This congress isn't listening to the people. The majority of Americans DON'T want a public option, or the out of control spending, rationing, and cutting of benefits this bill will necessarily cause. I hope the Senate doesn't try to pull that nuclear option. The majority of Americans want a free market solution, repeal of Fergusen, the banning of denial based on pre-existing conditions, tort reform, insurance pooling, and subsidies for those who truly can't afford any insurance. This totally out of control, big government financial disaster, public option, medicare cutting, ration causing, and quality destroying bill will be history making. It will be a bill that will live in infamy. We will live to regret it. Too bad all of us won't live under it. Many of us will die because of it. Don't get sick, and need a specialist. 2000 pages? Are you kidding me? If you can't write a bill in under 300 pages you totally suck as a congressperson, lawyer, or both. They ALL need to go. All of them.
