Sarah Palin attacked CBS News on Wednesday after it aired an interview with Levi Johnston, the father of Palin's grandchild. During an interview Wednesday morning on CBS's "The Early Show," Johnston repeated an accusation he made in a Vanity Fair article that Palin frequently referred to Trig, her son with Down syndrome, as her "retarded baby." Johnston also claimed that if he "really wanted to hurt [Palin], I could, very easily." In a statement, Palin said that she and her family have "purposefully ignored the mean spirited, malicious and untrue attacks on our family." "We, like many, are appalled at the inflammatory statements being made or implied," she continued. "Trig is our 'blessed little angel' who knows it and is lovingly called that every day of his life. Even the thought that anyone would refer to Trig by any disparaging name is sickening and sad." Palin, who did not refer to Johnston specifically in the statement, singled out CBS for giving him a "forum to propagate lies" and alluded to Johnston's coming spread in Playgirl magazine. The seven-minute segment CBS aired Wednesday was the first in a two-part series. "CBS should be ashamed for continually providing a forum to propagate lies," Palin said. "Consider the source of the most recent attention-getting lies - those who would sell their body for money reflect a desperate need for attention and are likely to say and do anything for even more attention." Hhhmm, I thought that attacking news stations was not a good thing? I thought we have free speech? I thought that as the father of her grandchild, he is part of "her family?"
So they should not let this guy even be on television? Shame on you, Sarah. Using the father of your grandchild to generate publicity. Oh, that's right. You aren't seeking publicity, you are asking the television stations to cencor their guests. Good thing you don't have a desperate need for attention and are likely to do or say anything for more attention.

While the kid should just go away and shut up, and I highly doubt she would call her own child retarded, even as much as I dislike her.
But using the news to spread lies is something she has taught him. They both should disappear into the background and save people the soap opera drama BS that seems to follow them both.

Hmm talk about milking a situation for all it's worth and not thinking about your son. What goes on TV now can be brought up later for his child to see. Sarah Palin stuck this moron in the spot light during her vice presidential campaign when he obviously didn't want to and she has to bear the consequences.
