OT US June 2012 Jobs Report

Well, the much anticipated jobs report came out today and only 80,000 jobs were created in June in the US.

Experts say that we need to create 150,000 per month just to cover the new people entering the job market.

To get back to much higher levels of employment, the experts say that we have to add 350,000 per month for 10 years.

Isn't it amazing how many jobs have left the US? And, many of those that remain are considered under-employment based on an average middle class way of life.

We sure have a long way to go in this "recovery," don't we?

" Many also have given up and also some went on disability if a coach or a CEO of a company doesn't improve it after after almost four years it is time for a change of leadership.

Too bad there isn't a leader to do the job. So sad. "

" It ain't Bush. He has been gone for almost 4 years now. Looks like Obama don't have a clue as to what he is doing. Blaming Bush for everything is getting old. It is time to put blame where blame belongs. On Obama's failed policies. "

" @ Joy: yep. the amount and quantity of good jobs that have left is hard for us to even imagine.

all the while we are running up huge deficits and going to war needlessly.

frankly, i am disgusted with both political parties. "

" reagan, bush 1, clinton, and bush 2 are all responsible. plus, all the congressemen and women during those time periods.

corporate america pushed its limits and kept on pushing while paying off lawmakers.

meanwhile our media and think tanks barely said anything about it. no alarm bells were sounded. they sounded alarm bells on stuff like global warming though. pretty stupid priorities if you ask me.

obama has reversed the trend. plus, those countries who have our jobs are now demanding higher wages and benefits so some of the corporations are starting to bring some jobs back here - at lower wages and benefits of course.

obama spent money like wildfire on those damn bailouts. that sure didn't help any. plus, he renewed the afghan war for another 10 long years.

i think that we would have been better off being in bread lines for a couple of years than this fiasco.

romney has the iq of a pea. that guy will be led around by a cheney in the background. watch and see.

the only real chance for lots of people is to create their own jobs because we sure can't count on those bozos upstairs. "
