I was just diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in situ and cervical dyplasia. I am scheduled to have both lasered Tuesday and I'm freaking cause I really don't have any info about either. I sit at a desk all day and thought I would be able to go back to work the next day. Healing time from what I've read about the cervix seems to be pretty fast...but from what I've read on here the vulva is a different story. I know we all heal at different speeds but any info on personal stories would make me feel so much better. Thank you in advance.

Whatthe,
Hi, I just had surgical excision along with laser of the vulva performed on Friday, March 20th. I do know that everyone heals differently but I don't think you will be able to comfortably sit all day the next day. I am on the sixth day since surgery, and i am just now able to sit in a regular chair for a short period of tine.
