" Lexie, you have bumped your thread twice, I guess because you want somebody to respond to it. However, I at least do not know what it is that you are looking for here. Do you want to quit or reduce your playing time? If so, then apart from which games you have, it would help to tell us something more about your personal gaming related situation. For example, write about when and why you started gaming, any insights as to why you play so much, what you have already done to try to cut down or stop, the effects that your excessive playing had on yourself and those close to you, etc. "

" Well I bumped my thread because I can nothing in the rule book says I can't. Anyway fine I'll go in depth in my gaming experience then.

I first started getting into games once I gave away my NES and got a super nintendo. This was back in xmas of 97 i slowly built my gaming library for that system but wasn't hardcore into it. Mom then bought me a sony playstaion in spring 01 I think and slowly built my library for sony from there. I basicly got tired of school in 7th grade because they put me in ESE for no reason so I didn't feel the need to come home and do homework because if I did they shoulda put me back in regular classes so I just played games instead. Xmas 05 I got a sony playstation 2 with tony hawks proskater 4 and underground and atv off road fury as a present from mom and dad. I then bought enter the matrix at a flea market sometime in march 06. ps2 is what made me addicted to games with the amazing graphics and enhanced movement that u see on screen. I then got my own apartment in April 07 at age 17 because I didn't like mom and dad's house rules so I'd play games all day and not have anyone say anything to me and would also stay up late to play them too. I had social security from drawing off dad's SS as a child so I didn't need to work to pay my rent and electricity. I then started college fall of 07 after getting my ged in dec 06.

I didn't get full concentrtion on college because of what hell I faced in high school for being bisexual. So I ended up pulling a C average over all. My gaming calmed down once I moved from fla to pa in march 08 stayed there and worked a month then moved to maryland where I still reside to this day. since moving here I only got hardcore into gaming summer 08 when my roomie pat was home from school. we'd wake up and play madden 06 tony hawk's underground and all that stuff all day. I then moved in with my bf at the time wich I am staying with my uncle since me and him broke up. but I havn't been hardcore into my ps2 since I moved out of the apartment. I'd play here and there guess internet and just doing stuff with my bf and my aunt kept me busy. well not my aunt left my uncle to screw him over basicly so now I since buying my ps3 play games more but not as bad. I also in like august last year bought another psp after having my 1st one break on me. I still have that and my ps2 here in my gameroom where I'm using my laptop. guess internet keeps me from getting addicted to video games as well as watching t.v. I don't currently have a job other than helping family for money so that's what goes towards new ps3 games and ps3 accessories. so if my uncle has the cable taken wich we might be doing I'll either be online or on my ps3 when there is nothing to do. on weekends i do play ps3 but not all day.

either I have something to occupy my time or I'll be playing games all day. anyway JoDOe hope that answered what you said. I basicly put my riginal post on here because it is what describes me right now but what I just typed is what has described me since I was 7........so hope it helps clear things up
