My partner moved out tonight, I dont know if its permanent. Hes taken pretty much everything though, so looks like it could be. I dont know what to say, what to feel other than devastated, I prayed and prayed we'd get a happy ending and be a normal, loving family but right now, it doesnt seem as if my prayers have been answered.

Video games are so addictive. It's as if they become brainwashed by the game. My husband picked the game and his game girlfriend over his real life family.
He left me, filed for divorce, and is now starting to realize it's a mistake. It's a very long story. I don't know if I trust him enough to take him back. But we have started to go to counseling. I'm praying it will help. When I first realized he had such an addiction, I went to a website, it was olga something. I don't remember it right now. It is an addiction and he probably doesn't know it is - try to be strong. Keep me posted I wish you luck and give you hugs.

Also, I am sorry about what your husband did to you. Regardless of whether or not you get back together with him, I wish you the best and remember to take care of yourself. Likewise, Lid67, I hope that your partner realizes his mistake but make sure that you move on with your life instead of waiting if he does not come back very shortly.

u are not alone...
my husband just left me & my 2 girls a week ago today (for the 4th time we've been married the past 3 yrs!) I think this time is it though. He hurt me...sat on my head, my neck, wrestled me to the ground...I got carpet burns on my elbows & everything. All b/c I unplugged the machine so he would just TALK to me. My 15yr old daughter watched--yelling @ him to get off me while my 11 yr old ran to the room scared. sad part is, he feels like he was in the right. He wants a divorce so he can be w/a woman that will let him play the game whenever he wants. it's heartbreaking to know the one you love , loves a machine more than you. :{ TRUST ME...I feel ur pain!
