They not how they use to be.

My son's girlfriend broke up with him yesterday.
But not in the normal - I don't want to see you anymore but we can still be friends way.
no, instead she went to her school counselor and told the counselor she wanted to break up with her boyfriend but she was afraid he'd hurt himself.
So her counselor had to talk to his counselor and then they called my son to the office and the counselor told him his girlfriend was breaking up with him, and then social services was called in and the nurse was called in and I was called in and I had to take him to the crisis center at the hospital. Where we sat all day waiting for doctors and psychiatrists and social workers to talk to him.
And then we were sent home because they realized he wasn't suicidal at all - he was just sad and had a broken heart
I think the school was afraid of a lawsuit if he hurt himself.
