when the doc says to use the ice bag and stay on the couch or bed for 2 days, he means it. i was feeling good after one day, then got off the couch doing normal things. woah-bad move. i felt like i was lugging around 2 bowling balls. it took 3 days to get back to normal.
on a side note, the nurse prepping me i thought took way too long with the alcohol wipe down. and she was cute. so i think the nurses had a bet going to see how long it would take for me to bone up. i made it though without showing the wood. Posted on 09/21/07, 03:09 pm |

Also make sure that you use a tight athletic supporter. Tight briefs, as my doctor suggested, just don't do it. The testes need to be snug against your body or they will have a dull pain for about a week.

Husband had one in 1989..went in, came out..went home and made love to me just to make sure it still worked..lol..took the athletic support off..threw it away..worked his 12 hr shift that night..and hasn't had a problem with pain yet..He did say the shot they gave him was uncomfortable...He heard the horror stories too. I guess it affects people differently. I think its the best thing a man can do for his wife if they don't want any more children..I thank you on the behalf of all women who think men don't take their part of birth control.
