What is Vasectomy

In a vasectomy, the vasa deferentia, the tubes which connect the testicles to the prostate, are cut and closed. This prevents sperm produced in the testicles to enter the ejaculate...

What exactly is a vasectamy and how does it affect you in the long run? I am concidering getting one so that my wife does not have to get her tubes tied. What does it do as far as physical and mental state if anything? And am I still able to " fire rounds" even though they are blank or does a vasectamy stop my gun from shooting completely?

" You should do a lot of reading up on the subject.

You should also only do it if you are certain you do not want (more) kids in the future.

Only do it for you and not anyone else.

Talk to doctor's also about it.

But, they cut the Vas tube (that carries) the sperm and seperate them so the sperm can not get into your ejaculate.

You still ejaculate (and cum) - just no sperm in it.

As far as physical & mental that's probably an individual issue.

It did not affect my husband in any way physically or mentally. "

" I recently had a vasectomy and I have seen no ill effects from it. I still get hard, still get PLENTY horny and still shoot while cumming. I have also NOT noticed any kind of decrease in the amount of semen that I ejaculate.

I will agree with Melly that you MUST do your research. I researched for several months, wrote a list of questions that I had and then did a consult with the doctor. Just make sure that you are CERTAIN that this is what you want. I am happily married with three children. My wife cannot take the pill because of blood clots, so the vasectomy was the most logical choice for us. "

" Most of the fluid in semen (95%) comes from the prostate gland. All a vasectomy does is stop the sperm from your testicles from getting to the prostate. I had mine 24 years ago with never a doubt, and since there were no more worries about unwanted pregnancies the sex got freer and better. I had mine done in the doctors office and was up and at-'em in 2 days. "
