" I had vaginal cancer and finished chemo/rads 7 months ago. Have you heard anything back yet? The treatment is doable and I was able to continue working. "

" Yeah, my oncologist said the same thing to me. But after my scans and exploratory surgery he was singing a different tune. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers that this has been caught early when it is most treatable. I hate it when doctors get all doom and gloom before all results are in. My experience with oncologists are that they are upfront, blunt, and do not hold back about the diagnosis. "

" I notice all of these responses are from last year. If anyone is out there to share with then let me know. I am fighting a similar battle and have been for almost a year. I would love to share and support . It is a rare cancer so we need to be there for each other and learn. "

" I was diagnosed 12/07 did the chemo/rads. Thought I was in remission for 7 months. But at the same time 1 yr later, 12/08, I rediagnosed with vaginal cancer. The new gyno/onco believes it never really went away . So in February I had more radiation, but in the form of Cyberknife surgery. So far, I am responding! The doctors are pleased. And I'm praying it goes away for good this time. "
