I have Grade One vaginal cancer cells as I have posted about here. I see my new doctor on December 12th. I was told that possibly they would be doing some laser treatment to the area to take care of the cells. Has anyone had this done, and if so can you PLEASE tell me something about it. I am getting very nervous. The vaginal tissues still burn from my old doctor using the aldara cream intra-vaginally (A BIG NO NO) and I am very worried about side effects if I do need this treatment.
Many thanks in advance and bless you all..

" I have not used any creams, but I have had laser for my lesions which are stage 3. I had it done at a surgial center he also surgical removed larger lesions and stitched those closed. It was not too painful I was away from work for about 3 days is all. "

" EllaBlue, I've done both and the cream is awful and so painful, and I would not recommend it to anyone EVER...the laser treatment is the only way I would ever go again. I was asleep so I did not feel a thing. I was back to work in two days, with the cream I had to come home at lunch time an fill the tub with water to pee, the pain was so bad. I had no side effects to the laser treatment except some vaginal bleeding and that did not last long. Good luck. "
