So, I had my biopsy a week ago tomorrow, am still waiting for the results and I am wondering, how long does it take to get the final results? Also, I am a diabetic with a heart condition, and that worries me, I am 57 (today!!) and of course so many odd thoughts cross my mind...I am still on the positive course, but I am sure I will have bad days and good days...? Any advice? Anyone else with diabetes or a heart condition that has been through this? And how long does it take to recover from a hysterectomy and, I know it varies, but a rough ball park figure?

I have diabetes. I also had a hysterectomy. My heart does alot of jumping around on occasion. Feels real close to the end sometimes. Went to the emergency once, and they made me wait, and once the doctor saw me and heard what my heart was doing, he said, "It's not supposed to be doing that." and immediately put me in a room with IV's and monitors and all sorts of things. Gave me magnesium IV's and who knows what else. But I am willing to bet he does not make anyone else wait while he goes to eat, after what he found my heart doing. I now take, or am supposed to take "Metoprolol". Really works wonders for my heart. I take several other things, but Diovan (with a water pill included?) is another pill for the high blood pressure. For Diabetes I take Metformin and Glipizide. But I am really going to look into that Book people are talking about on the Diabetes Discussion/Group. I seem to think it sounds like the thing I need to pay attention to. Nothing else works. When I was walking and eating wisely, I dropped weight and I stopped the meds and I was having trouble with my BGlucose dropping all of the time. Needless to, I have gone off the good meal plan and returned to eating whatever. Not meaning pies and cakes and junk food, but on occasion. I just mean, wise portions and healthy. Post again, how are you doing? I took about 8 weeks to feel a little better from the hysterectomy.
