I ended up having a very nice day. It started out slowly, couldn't get going to save my life and I HAD to as Patrick had karate. I don't know if my friends in Canada celebrate this, but we celebrate our freedom on July 4th. But I think we all can be glad that we have the freedom to be in this wonderful support group, and make new friends around the world. Visited my oncologist today - all good news. Nothing to worry about. All my concerns answered.
As a treat, I went to a Guided Imagery (relaxation) class. Lots of hugs and support from my Wellness Center friends after they heard the good news from my follow-up doctor's appointment.
Chemo #3 starts on 21 August. Chemo #4 on 14 September. And then I'm done with treatment. Yay!

Today was my 6 month check-up by my GYN/Onc - and I am done with all my treatments!
Everything looked great and the next time that I see the doctor is just before Christmas for a regular exam and lab work.
Then, it's another 3 months before I see her for my one year check-up. Just before that one in March, I'll also have a CT scan. Dr Walsh mentioned being pretty conservative about CT scans...1 Recommendation3 Comments -
