On the beach no, but I have up country in Vermont where we have a summer place. It feels refreshing, not having to worry what someone might say.
I have, though, walked into the ocean when I've had a sudden bladder spasm and wet myself.

When I was a kid and had this incontinence problem, each year we went out to a family ranch and had a big gathering of family for a Easter egg hunt . The place was called dripping springs. A very good name . Each year I would wet my pants sooner or later . I would always fall in the spring . All on accident mind you . LOL I wish there was a spring everywhere i went so i could hide the fact that I wet my pants. by falling into the spring water.
Sometimes I think I' m creating my own spring lol. Although this sounds gross. summer time was a blessing because I went swimming so much at a city pool. never had to hide wet pants there. One daymuch later in life I was sitting in my own back yard out by my own pool . My grandsons pushed me in to the water clothes and all.. . Now let me tell you if you fall in the water with a pee pad on you will come out this a giant water soaked log between your legs that not even the biggest baddest lumber jack would be able to saw in half LOL If you think wet pants are a embarrassing problem try walking with a water soaked log between your legs. lol .It will take 6 days for the dang thing to dry out. lol Life has it's funny moments.

I am talking about walking on the beach. I know better than to get into the water with a diaper on. It is important for me to be wearing a diaper while walking because by the time I get to the beach I am normally wet.

Am I the only person that is incontinent that goes to the beach?

Hi DiaperDave, I hope your ancle heels quickly for you. I too wear cloth diapers and plastic plants I find them the most comfortable and best suited for my incontinence. Yes, I have walked on the beach in just a shirt and cloth diapers. I love the early morning walk in the sand just as the sun rises. Because I am activity I have hiked, canoed, camped, and rafted in just a shirt and diaper. I am sure at times in back my diaper was quiet visiable, especially on a rafting trip where i lost my shorts in the water. Around the house in warm weather it is more comfortable to be in just my diaper (cooler). There has never a lot of people around so do not think anyone notice. At the beach I think it looks just like swimwear unless someone wanted to get close up and study. Once you are back on your feet I think you would be fine on your walks with just a long t-shirt over top your diaper. Walks are great exercise. Take care

I don't understand the question. I like the beach, but I wouldn't make a point of walk along it in a diaper, any more than I would in tighty whiteys or a pair of boxers.

Thanks for your reply. I finaly got my ankle put in a cast last Monday, and the doctor said that I would have to wear it for another 6 to 8 weeks. I have now lived with the beach in sight and haven't been able to go down there yet. I too have had some embarasing situations while out. It is definatly best to go out well diapered than to go just a few steps out the front door and soak everything.
