Hi everyone,
I wondered if anyone has used ... or is planning to use mini cribs for your multiples. My husband and I looked at them last weekend and I know they wouldn't work for as long as a full size crib would. But it sure makes a lot of sense space wise. Any thoughts? :) Thanks! Personally I don't like them. They would only be good for a very short time. You would have to buy regular cribs anyway and try to get rid of the minis. If you have the cash to spare and don't mind buying cribs twice within the first year they sure are cute!

My sister let us borrow her mini crib. It was great for about six weeks. I put my babies in the same crib to sleep and it was just too small for them. They slept in the same crib until they were six months old and now I have them in two cribs. Their entire room is taken up by the cribs but it's okay, they just sleep there. They play in other rooms.

Even tho it's been 26 year's for me I would say full size crib's.Your money will be going for diaper's and formula.Please don't do your own diaper's because that will be all you do LOL.Babyshower's!!I loved all the cutsey thing's I got but what I really needed was disposable diaper's,formula (I did do some breastfeeding what I could),lot's of crib sheet's,lot's of sleeper's or P.J.'s and lot's of undershirt's because you will be doing laundry LOL.Best of luck to you.

why do a mini crib when you can do a pac n play ;) thats what we did. plus if you do more then 1 pac n play then eventually when the kids need more space you pack (no pun intended) the unit off to the grandparents so that when you are visiting elsewhere its already there... nice n portable. My moms got my pac n play now and its been tremendously useful. Sure its more cramped then the kids like but they still use it in a pinch.
