OMG--I know morning sickness is supposed to be double with multiples but this is CRAZY. I've taken a turn for the worse these past few days (9 weeks and 1 day today). I can't sleep I'm so sick--can't work--haven't even showered AND it's non-stop. The Zofran is helping a little but nt like it was last week. I am not sure what to do. I eat crackers as soon as I wake up, which is now every hour. I eat small meals. I rest when I can. Anyone have a magic bullet cure? i'm desperate. Also, when will this stop? I hear 12 weeks--but really, how did you guys last that long?

I am so sorry you are going through this.... its horrible I am 15 weeks on monday and still sick I think cause there are three little ones in me its going to last even longer.... all i have to say is thank God my doctor took me out of work early on, there is no way I could have worked and been this sick. Unfortunatley there is really no cure... although i noticed you said you can't shower thats what relaxes me I have a chair in the shower and I get in sit down and let the hot water do its job... it only works for alittle while but its better then nothing. Hope you start feeling better. I have been praying like crazy to take the sickness away... i guess its just not time yet.

I only had twins and I was sick at least til week 14 but as of week 11 it started easing up... ie longer times each day not so sick until it was all gone... but it was brutal for awhile there. It was hard when people came to visit I was so sick it was embaressing. Hope it goes better for you... the 2nd is the best because the aches and pains don't start until 3rd tri. Good luck. You'll get through it.

Gosh this stuff can be torture!! No cure, just some things to try... The shower really helped me as well, taking my prenatal at night before bed helped reduce day sickness for me, "sweet and salty mix" lemonade and pretzels, or ice cold soda and chips, SIPPING ice water all day, and junk food.... Lots of junk food. Up untill about 14 weeks it was awful! My house was a mess, I was always on the couch, hubby had to take over laundry and make his own dinners... My 2 kids had sandwiches for dinner for weeks, and "playing" was me napping on the floor while they poked at me and played the mommy suggested game of Doctor... I was always the sick patient!! It got worse before it got better but around 14 weeks I woke up one morning and it was gone! POOF! Now life is good again..Good luck to you!

I lived on prescription meds until almost 20 weeks. It's only been a couple of years but I believe I was on Zovran, too. (Expensive 'scrip - thank goodness for insurance) Nothing helped but the med. But my twins are soooo worth it - I'd suffer it again to have them. Hang in there. We totally get it.

Thanks, ladies. I love your ideas--I really think I need a chair in the shower. That sounds really good.
I had a break yesterday and got my hopes up. My pregnancy book says you can expect the MS to ease up as you enter the 10th week. And yesterday I woke up feeling good--well, normal. But I was wrong--I'm back on the couch retching. :( Grrrrrrrr.
