When did you deliver?

I know that every person is different, but I was just curious when others have delivered their twins. I am almost 30wks and starting to get nervous. I was induced with my daughter so never actually went into labor with her. Both of my boys are measuring well over a week ahead of schedule and I am already huge. The doctor has already told me that if they keep growing at this rate I will deliver them early. So I am thinking that they could realistically come almost anytime now. When should I pack my bag and start getting things ready so I'm not running around in labor trying to do all this. Thanks!

" Because we are at risk of going much earlier, I would go ahead and pack. Just the basics... You can always send your husband home after the delivery for anything else you decide you need. If your labors are freakishly fast like mine have been, there will be no time for running around to do anything. It doesn't hurt to have everything ready and waiting earlier than neccesary. And if you do go soon, wouldn't it be better to come home to a prepared house than to have to get ready while taking care of babies? "

" Oh and I haven't had my twins yet but will have the packing done much sooner than hopefully needed. I'm actually REALLY nervous about having enough time to drive to the hospital. Delivering in the car is not a life experience I need to have! :) "

" 38 weeks. Scheduled c section - hadn't gone into labor yet. 6 lbs 3 oz, 5 lbs, 12 oz. Wish the doctor would have let me go longer - my girl lost 11 % of her body weight after birth and I would have liked her a bit bigger. "

" My doctor always said twins are born early 50 % of the time. Mine were born at 36 weeks. 32 weeks was when my doctor stopped worrying. He said if they are born that early they would be fine. That if you check in on kids that were born at 32 weeks when they reach school age, they are completely normal. 34 weeks was when my doctor said he wouldn't stop labor if it started. "
