I ovulated late this month (CD16 or 17). I have read this means I might have a problem getting pregnant this month....anyone know this?

your luteal phase should be more than 10 days to be normal so watch when your next cylce comes and you will know.

Oh goodness no! The idea of aa 28 day cycle with OV on CD14 is an average, not a requirement. I OV every month around CD20...assuming your AF is 10-14 days later, you're fine.

whew - ok. I should have 10-12 days at least until AF due....I had read about leutal phase defect and worried the time would not be sufficient for the embryo to implant etc.

Doesn't matter when you O, just matters how many days are after the O. I o'd on CD 21 this cycle (ugh). But, I was taking B complex, I'm going to try next cycle w/out the B.

Hey Utah, have a look at my post about progesterone and pregnancy. I know I have given you this info before, but you may want to look into the studies and speak with your doc. I could never maintain a pregnancy because of my defective luteal phase until the natural progesterone suppliments presecribed by my fertility specialist xx
