I have been tracking my cycle since my m/c's, as it wasn't the same afterwards and took 2 months to get back to normal! so for the past four months i've had a 35 day cycle which really means i have 10 shots a year to get pregnant is any one else the same? and what days do you ttc on? does any one know of any questions i can ask the doctor on this? I would really appreciate any information, thank you.

You should BD right around your ovulation. Day, so if you're charting and temping and doing OPKs that will really help you determine when to BD. It's different for everyone.
I know some ladies that have 40, 46 and 50 day cycles. I'm sure they'd gladly take your 35 day cycle!

Mine is 33-35 days, lately 35 consistently...Usually I ovulate around CD 19 or 20, so we start BDing every other day around day 15. If your luteal phase is normal, you can basically assume that you ovulate 14-16 days before your period starts. I'd say try OPKs (digital ones were easier, I found) just to confirm. Good luck!

My average cycle is around 42 days but they will literally go anywhere from 30 - 56 days. They are never the same length, something that has my doctor rather baffled. We did manage to conceive one time in the past two years but it unfortunately ended in miscarriage at 10 1/2 weeks this past May. Oh, and it took nine weeks for AF to resume after the miscarriage.
I think the thing in your favor is the fact that your cycles are basically regular. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that your fertility is better if your cycle is slightly on the long side rather than on the short side. (Someone please correct me if that is wrong.) If you are concerned about the length of your cycles, it may be worth having your prolactin, thyroid and FSH tested although I did and they all came out normal, despite my completely irregular and rather lengthy cycles. Hang in there and good luck to you!

I never experienced a MC, but ever since I got off of BC and put on Metformin my cycles were 41 days...so it was like every 3 cycles I missed one...so I had 9 chances a year to get pregnant.
Do you know when you ovulate? I would count out 35 days and know when AF is supposed to come and then count back 16 days...and then do Ovulation Predictor Kits and then see if you get positive results then you will know for sure that you are ovulating. I remember the first time I tried to figure this out I did OPK's every day and tracked it, but found it was not helping...Good Luck..

My cycle length is somewhere between 28-30. But, if you need to track your ovulatio through OPKs if you really want to know when to start. My cycle like I said is about 30 days. My doctor said to start BDing every other day starting with CD10 through the day after positive ovulation. If your cycle is longer perhaps you should start around CD 12 or 13. It would be easier to tell if you knew about when you ovulate. I ovulate every month between CD14-16. Remember sperm can stay alive for up to 7 days so it is always a good thing to have a basic window to shoot for. I would suggest the OPKs for a few months. Early-Pregnancy Tests.com (I think that is the site name) sells them really cheap. Once you know what you body does then you can put a plan into action. Good Luck. Hoping and praying your BFP is coming soon. XO :)

I also had a mc this year and am TTC again. SOme helpful tips:
- chart your BBT. I am always able to tell when I ovulate from, this regardless of my cycle length. If you combine that with ovulation test strips, it is SO easy to tell. - I have endometriosis, so had cycles irregular from 25-39 days. They were ALWAYS crazy until I started acupuncture. Since doing acupuncture for 1 year my cycles are 29 days EVERY month. When I had my miscarriage I got my period on DAY 29 AGAIN! The doctors said that is unheard of pretty much, and I attribute this to acupuncture. It does wonders for fertility problems. Hope that helps. I think if you invest in some cheap test strips and start temperature charting, you might see you ovulate every month at the same time.
