" Did you take any pamprin or midol? I know my doc told me that those can drastically reduce the amount of bleeding in a month. But honestly, it never reduced it that much for me!

I know each cycle can be very different from another. Maybe you just have a "fluke" cycle?

Have you called your doc? It sounds like something you just may be able to ask over the phone instead of making an appointment. "

" I assume you took a pregnancy test and it was negative? If so, I agree with Howdy's advice, it's probably just one of those things. I've had similar things happen to me a couple of times (once AF lasted 5 days, but there was hardly any flow). I wouldn't worry about it, but a quick phone call to your doctor may help ease your mind. "

" I am completly med free so it can't be anything im taking, i just started work again and have been doing hectic 12 hour shifts so it could be that im thinking but it's still pretty freaky. i also done a about 6 OPK tests in the middles of my cycle and they all came back negative so im thinking i never ovulated this month. i will call the doctors tomorrow to find out what the hell is going on but i honestly think my GP is a joke and hasn't a clue about TTC...... he has eight kids! " I had a 2-3 days cycle once after I had a lining issue one month. Since there was almost no lining there was nothing to shed. I wouldn't be too concerned sometimes stress could cause it to happen. If it happened more than one month then I would be concerned. "

" About a year and a half ago I stopped getting my period. My prolactin was so high that my body thought it was pregnant. I clearly wasn't. I guess what I mean is: it could be a multitude of things. If you don't trust your GP about things like this, find a reputable women's clinic.
Good luck! "

" Kind of sounds like you had a anovulatory cycle. "
