Just Here To Moan!

I am just here to moan, so please excuse me.
I have had a weird thing going on for the past 2/3 weeks, where whenever I go to sleep (or try to) I get what seems like a head full of mucus (gross!) and wake up choking, with a blocked up nose. During the day I am fine. Anyway, I have been taking my vitamins/minerals etc and was hoping it was going. Now I had the worst night last night with barely any sleep... my ear started hurting and that in turn made the TN pain come. OMG I am so peed off about it! I was so tired when I went to my job today (thankfully I am only doing puppy sitting so not too bad) and I was in pain all day. I am fed up. Ok rant over LOL. Posted on 11/02/09, 04:11 pm |

Remember: you're strong and upbeat. Think how much you mean to those dogs you walk. I'm so sorry you hurt, but we both know you'll get through this time, too. Hang in, Baby! I send special healing energy your way.

Aww thanks Almostbuffed... that made me feel better! I need any healing energy I can get. I feel a little better today, although I am getting a lot of twinges and my ear is threatening me.... I just keep enjoying any moments of pain-freeness and was really lucky to get some decent sleep!

Hey this is what we are all about. GO ahead and moan and vent. I know it is hard to do that to family and friends sometimes as we are all trying to project the "i"m okay" image.
What a rewarding job to walk those dogs. I know they love you.

Hehe... they are snuggle bunnies! 2 Border Collie pups - I sit with them 8 hours at a time 2 days a week at the moment as they need feeding 2 times during that period and the lady is at work. I really love them a lot but am glad I have my own dogs or I would be had up for dog snatching!!
The TN is still hanging around, but it's overall a bit better yesterday and today as on Monday it was with me Sunday night all through Monday whereas I have managed to get some respite. Here's hoping I can get it properly under control!!

Hi Vicky,
Saw your updated photos (I guess I have to put one in soon) with beautiful you and a bunch of cutie little four-leggeds. I have a puppiesh golden retreiver who urges me on long walks every day. Oh, to be loved by a canine!! I also appreciate your new journal entry. The feelings of the unknown, anxiety, not being able to plan: people generally don't get all the non-physical decoration that come with "sick." I hope you have friends to support your needs. You're not alone and I think of you. Be well in all ways. Ronnie

Hi Ronnie
Gosh, yes, without my doggies (the Yorkie is mine, the other two are my parents but then I live with them so they are like mine) I am not sure how I would cope! They are a constant source of amusement. I find their energy is inspiring and I always have someone who is ready for a snuggle if I am. :o) I am glad you could relate to my journal entry. I try to write about the emotional and mental effects, not just the physical. It helps me to put things in order and I think it helps others at times. x
